Professional Awards

    The Project Management Institute (PMI) strives to offer a professional awards program that encourages and recognizes the accomplishments of project management professionals and organizations around the world.  PMI places a high regard and value on recognizing and honoring those who have made significant, memorable contributions to the Institute and to the project management profession.  You can honor superior performance when you nominate excellent projects, project management professionals, training providers and organizations for PMI Professional Awards. 


    PMO of the Year

    The judging criteria for the nominated PMO (Project Management Office) will be in 4 areas:

          1. Structure Functions, and Processes of the PMO
          2. Talent Acquisition, Retention, and Development
          3. PMO Accomplishments
          4. Impact to the Business

    Call for Nominations begins September 1, 2017
    Application Deadline March 1, 2018

    Awards will be presented during the 2018 Professional Development Conference and consist of:
          1. Free admission to all PMI-NUC events (other than exam prep classes) for one year for
              three members of your PMO
          2. Catered Lunch for your PMO with the PMI-NUC board of directors
          3. Trophy or Plaque so you can display your achievement at your organization
          4. Northern Utah project management community recognition through email and social
              media channels
