Proposed PMI Northern Utah Chapter Bylaw Revisions

The Board is sharing two proposed approaches to revising the chapter bylaws. Both documents are drafts. PMI must review and approve the proposed language before either version can be presented to members for a vote. Neither document has been adopted.

Version 1: Markup of the Current Bylaws
This version shows proposed edits within the structure of our current bylaws. It focuses on changing the chapter’s name from PMI Northern Utah Chapter to PMI Utah Chapter and incorporating membership language required by PMI’s New Member Model.

Version 2: Full Bylaws Revision
This version also changes the chapter name and incorporates the required New Member Model language. It further simplifies the bylaws using a template provided by PMI. Under this approach, the Board of Directors Handbook would carry more of the detail about Board roles, responsibilities, and operating procedures.

We are posting both drafts so members can see the approaches under consideration. Following PMI’s review, the Board will identify the final proposal and provide members with the applicable notice and voting information.
